OneFlesh exists for one purpose: to help Christians who are seriously pursuing marriage find a partner whose faith and values are genuinely compatible with their own.
Most dating platforms treat relationships as a product — optimized for engagement, not for covenant. OneFlesh operates from a different premise entirely. Marriage is the goal. Faith is the foundation. Everything about how the app is built reflects that.
We are not a general-purpose dating app that happens to have a "Christian" filter. We are a Christian marriage app, built by people who take Scripture seriously, for people who do the same.

OneFlesh is built exclusively for professing Christians. Denominational differences can be explored and filtered within the app. This is a deliberate, unapologetic decision rooted in 2 Corinthians 6:14.
Every user is made in the image of God. The platform is designed to honor that — reducing objectification and centering character, calling, and conviction.
We exist in deliberate contrast to secular dating culture. The name OneFlesh is an intentional reclamation — a prophetic statement about what marriage is meant to be.
How It Works
OneFlesh is being built with a straightforward, deliberate set of features — no gamification, no infinite swiping, no algorithmic manipulation.
Users complete an in-depth values and faith profile. Matches are ranked by compatibility percentage across theological beliefs, lifestyle, calling, and relational expectations — not by proximity or photo attractiveness.
Rather than an endless swipe feed, users browse their compatible pool in ranked order. Each profile gets genuine consideration.
Either person can send a match request. The recipient accepts or declines on their own timeline — no pressure, no simultaneous swiping, no gamified mechanics.
Explicit declines result in permanent removal from each other's pool. Expired requests follow a graduated cooling-off schedule. Users currently matched with someone are temporarily hidden and may return if that match ends.
Users share their doctrinal positions, church involvement, spiritual disciplines, and convictions — giving potential matches a real picture of who they are in their faith, not just their hobbies.
OneFlesh's business model will never depend on advertising revenue or the sale of user data. The platform exists to serve its users, not exploit them.
