The family is one of the most powerful witnesses the church has to offer the world. Every Christian marriage is a living testimony — a picture of Christ and the church, made visible in covenant love, shared sacrifice, and God-honoring unity. More Christian marriages means more Christian families. More Christian families means more disciples raised in the faith from their earliest days.
Yet the secular world moves in the opposite direction — celebrating the dissolution of the family, redefining marriage, and normalizing everything God designed covenant union to stand against. As believers and proclaimers of the truth, we should have the best marriages. We should have the most faithful, joyful, enduring, God-honoring families. That witness matters.
OneFlesh exists to contribute to that. Not a dating app with a Christian filter — but a purpose-built tool for real, believing, saved, baptized, fruit-bearing, sanctified, born-again Christians who are ready to pursue the covenant God designed them for. We want to be the best, most successful Christian marriage app ever built — because what is at stake is worth nothing less than our very best effort.

The Bible is our highest authority on what marriage is, what it requires, and why it matters. Our values framework is drawn from Scripture, not cultural consensus.
OneFlesh is not for casual dating, hookups, or "seeing where things go." Every feature is designed for users who are actively, prayerfully pursuing a lifelong covenant partner.
Compatibility is prioritized by faith depth, theological alignment, and shared values over physical attraction. Users are matched on what matters most.
OneFlesh is built exclusively for professing Christians. Denominational differences can be explored and filtered within the app. This is a deliberate, unapologetic decision rooted in 2 Corinthians 6:14.
Every user is made in the image of God. The platform is designed to honor that — reducing objectification and centering character, calling, and conviction.
We exist in deliberate contrast to secular dating culture. The name OneFlesh is an intentional reclamation — a prophetic statement about what marriage is meant to be.
How It Works
OneFlesh is being built with a straightforward, deliberate set of features — no gamification, no infinite swiping, no algorithmic manipulation.
Users complete an in-depth values and faith profile. Matches are ranked by compatibility percentage across theological beliefs, lifestyle, calling, and relational expectations — not by proximity or photo attractiveness.
Rather than an endless swipe feed, users browse their compatible pool in ranked order. Each profile gets genuine consideration.
Either person can send a match request. The recipient accepts or declines on their own timeline — no pressure, no simultaneous swiping, no gamified mechanics.
Explicit declines result in permanent removal from each other's pool. Expired requests follow a graduated cooling-off schedule. Users currently matched with someone are temporarily hidden and may return if that match ends.
Users share their doctrinal positions, church involvement, spiritual disciplines, and convictions — giving potential matches a real picture of who they are in their faith, not just their hobbies.
OneFlesh's business model will never depend on advertising revenue or the sale of user data. The platform exists to serve its users, not exploit them.

OneFlesh is not designed for casual dating, interfaith relationships, or users who are not professing Christians. It is not a spiritual growth platform or a general Christian social network. Its singular purpose is helping marriage-minded Christians find a compatible covenant partner.
Data & Privacy
OneFlesh will never sell, license, or monetize user information to third parties. We collect only what is necessary to operate the platform and facilitate meaningful compatibility matching. Your faith profile, personal details, and activity on the app are treated as private and will never be used for advertising purposes.
Email addresses collected through our interest survey are used solely to follow up with participants about the development of OneFlesh. They will not be shared, sold, or used for any purpose outside of direct communication related to this project.
We are building a platform we would trust with our own information — and we intend to hold ourselves to that standard permanently.
